guess what , i figured that before i went to school . i'd be able to go back driving , but noooo i took my driving exam today and failed . WHY? because of failing to give right of way to oncoming traffic and the tester stepped on the brakes WTF? its ok , hopefully i dun have to wait as long in as in singapore to get a new test date . You really need a car to survive in toronto espically to get from one place to another.

Well basically , new semseter , new start to the school year and there'll be many new students in school . Hopefully i'll meet more singaporean friends or HOT CHICK ... hahaha ... there is nothing really much for me to blog about anymore because i have been basically waiting and waiting and working and working ...

well here are the pics i've taken from montreal and qubec city . basically montreal is a very modern city will a few ancient churches and quebec city is the older city on the other hand , lets see if u can guess where the pictures are taken in ?? hAHahaha .... anyway i went with 2 other friends from school on this tour that includes hotel ..... pretty cheap though......

well anyway summer is almost over in canada and fall is coming , its starting to get really cold again . usually summer is not supposed to end so quickly , but this year its starting to get really cold soon because of the huricane in the states . Its about 16 - 17degrees even in the day ... but when the wind comes , it can really freeze you to the bone .

well basically , i just bought my return ticket . im not telling anyone when ... im gonna suprise you and just show up at your door step or just give u a suprise call when i am in sg LOL ... i know that sounds pretty stupid ... which means i have to do that to all my friends in sg and i'll be pretty tired during the whole festive week ......but dun worry ... this will keep you guessing when i 'll be back ... RIGHT? after all suprise can sometimes be good ....

anyway i gotta go to sleep now , working tomorrow morning in starbucks again . They have this drink here called a TAZO CHAI ... which is this indian spice tea .... i am still amazed why they do not have any tazo teas in singapore EH???

well i spent my summer voluentering at the 2007 rogers cup tennis open this summer as soon as i got back from montreal . that explains why i have so little time to blog these few weeks . basically my job is really simple , i am doing pass control , which means doing a job of checking pass and security which is pretty similar to my army job . But then , a good advantage is i get really close to the players area and get really close to the players which also means i can get access to the womans lockers area WOOOO!~~~~ of course i can't enter but i can wait outside .... if youre a tennis fan like me you'll be really excited to watch all these players play ain action live , or even just to see them .... here are some of the photos i snapped with my handy 3.2 megapixiles handphone camera

well ...basically since that my ass no longer hurts now ... i am finally going to montreal .... yay!!! well its a good package by a chinese tour agency and basically its about $150 for 3 days 2 nights just including hotel and bus .... well basically since its a domestic travel ..... its gotta be a lot cheaper ... montreal is a city of food ..... clubbing ..... gay marriages .......im going on a eating spreeee yayyy!!

Many of you haven't heard of this musical before . Its a broadway musical , made into a movie called hairspray . Hairspray talks about the troubleful era of the 60's , Where blacks wern't allow to perform or be in contact with the whites due to their history in america. This story talks about tracy ( the fat girl ) trying to overcome all odds to break that barrier to blacks and perform together with her black friend and become famous in the 60's famous teenage tv show .

Why do i love this movie ? because the sound track is superb , the actors are funny . You'd get to see john Trvolita act as a mother figure and amanda bynes singing . How cool is that . ANd i must say the sound track is supberb . the song gets your grooving and on your feet and your hands , feels like im moving mambo again . Anyway let me tell everyone this movie is a musical . which means 75% of the movie is in music , so dun expect a holly wood love flick .

I just love it , remember to go and watch it when it opens in singapore Aug 24th i think

well , im starting to get settled in canada , despite many of my days ending up to be useless evenings catching up on my tv serials in my computer . im currently watching grey's anatomy now , with scrubs season 6 . Before it used to be desperate housewives , heros and betty . till it ended . But i heard they are coming back this fall , and being in canada , tv shows it right away.

The other day i was in the bus , this really long one .... you know those 2 buses with the rubber connection in the middle , i stepped up and the front was pack , trams trolly old walking sticks . The driver asked us to move to the rear , most people acted to me . Me on the other hand Really wanted to move to the back because there were a little empty seats . However This white punk guy , singlet big arms , sorta look like john cena , typical poser type , blocking the road with his sluttish girl friend .

I went up , i really wanted to move to the back . " Excuse me " i said .
"one more fucking person asks me to move to the back i'll whoop his ass " He said.
My mind filled with rage , i wanted to say manythings . his bimbo girl friend blocking the way , how inconsiderate you are , how dumb u are when u think u look so great . but then i looked at myself , then i looked at him again . Maybe not .

A first timer to new york , this city has everything you need north to south , its almost if u live there , u'd prob never have to leave the city again . summer is here , summer is the most awaited season for torotians .... this is because the sun is out , summer activites like canoeing , and water sports could be done . but to me its just like home , just hotter . The sun here's a killer , a few minutes in the sun and i already feel dizzy hahahaha...... well... its hard to describe .. simple just come to toronto.

well basically the start of summer marks a very significant event , its the annual toronto gay and lesbian pride parade . This marks the day that gays in toronto celebrate being accepted into the Toronto society , and they march down younge street in toronto in fancyful costumes and floats celebrating their acceptance .....This is not something you get to see everyday , well anyway not that i was there , its just that we should accept them and not isolate them just because they are gay and lesbian . they are just like normal people , with just difference preference , boy if you discrimate gays in toronto , you'd be really hated by majority of canadians , because canada is a gay friendly country...

anyway since summer is here , my appetite has started its weirdness again , last week i was munching on a triple mama burger from A&W ( it means with 3 patty's ) , the following day i was challenging someone else to be the fastest to finish a pint of ben and jerry's . I was caught here yest munching a huge packet of planters peanuts . ..... Those were not even mine by the way .... new job , new place , new work . Yes i am working at starbucks again . If juggling school work and insufficient sleep is considered enjoyment to you . Then you should do what i am doing . The thing about working here is that you don't really get to choose when you want to work . They assign it to you . hence since my availability is only after school hours , my work usually last till late at night . Bummer .... however IT IS FUN!!!!

You know usually when you are new , you'd be assigned a coach or a manger to look after you , in this case , they just leave me there and i do my own stuff , just like anyone else ... SO MUCH FOR TRAINING , would someone please help me , i m not really sure with all the drinks yet . however back to drinking free coffee's FREE VANILLA LATTE , yummmmm ... my ultimate indulgence . did i also mention quite a few hot ang moh chicks , im the only chinese there by the way.

WHEN DARKNESS TURNS TO LIGHT....

This is crap ... there is too much light , i end up waking up like at 5 am in the morning because the shine is shining too much on my ass and burning it up . No wonder i felt something burning .
and it usually sets at around 8.40 - 8.50 .... imagine so many hours of bright sunshine , can u imagine how weird it feels , and i heard u hardly even see the sun in winter ..... that takes quite a bit of adjustment .

Recently , life has been boring . Its a normal school day 9-4 then i'll come back and do a little of my workouts , swim a few laps . My condo has a really nice pool and gym , in turn since i have nothing better to do . I think i am finally closer to getting the ideal body of my choice .... ps . an example will be a guy with the initials B.P . And weekends are usually spent inviting my friends over to dazzle at my amazingly fast Internet speed and the extremely neatly varnished billiards table i have within close proximity .

You know What the amazing thing is , i reside in canada , live here but i haven't made a single canadian friend . NONE . I don't know the canadian life style , what medium they use for friends communication . Nice food places to indulge in rich creamy desserts . hopefully , all that will change once i start work tomorrow , STARBUCKS. My reason for working at starbucks simple , 1 ) i love coffee 2) i love cakes 3) i love coffee and cakes and i want to make friends . well long work day tomorrow , with 2 tests which i have a feeling i will totally flunk . WISH ME LUCK

well its nothing fantastic , its like a theme park . Canada's one and only , you can't compare to Disney land or universal studios but at least they have rides . I must add they only have roller coasters , AND SERIOUSLY that's it . 20 different variations . Who in the world would want to ride 20 different roller rides in what day . Well thats what i thought . Everyone wants to . Anyway , i just developed a new phobia in life , rollerphobia ( the phobia of riding roller coasters). I didn't realise i could't take roller rides , this is freaky , the suspending in air the up side down twists . I can bungee but i cannot ride a roller coaster.

Wonder land ? nothing fantastic to me , lets just say i look forward more to new york . Well i had a lousy week at school , my accounts test results came back and i just got like 57? What the fa*k and worse , i just took my calculus test today and i guess what ? what ? i didn't know how to do the questions OMFG sheesh , oh dear looks like getting into universitty in canada doesn't seem so easy after all . Hey anyway , cut me some slack ya ? i haven't been studying for 2 years . Well im running out of things to do already someone give me some ideas please......

i think i just arrived in china town . The chinese population in tornoto now is soooo huge , i take a walk around and im like walking in singapore , just with little flurry white droplets and temp as cold as my freezer . Who could tell that this is a city in north america . Toronto.

The other day i went for orientation in my school , then i realised how thankful i am to live her with my parents . I saw the dorm , its pathetic , just a bed a table and a sink and a cupboard tats all . NO plugs for other devices , shared toilet which is like just 1 cubcicle . Which means only 1 person can bathe at a time . ANd DOzens of restrictions , can u imagine u have to be back by 10 every night ? how do i go clubbing like that ?

Ok , im not staying directly in toronto city , i am staying in its closest subarbs , mississauga . Why? mississauga has the largest singaporean and malaysian population , my housing agent is singaporean my car dealer is malaysian . They even have a clan , a singaporean clan where people can gather to socalize and meet new people . but in my mum's mind .. " majong KaKI!! How do i apply?" I must say being a city kid and staying in a new area which is sooo hard to get around . I 'm pretty bored , mall closes on sunday at 4 and opens at 12 ! can u belive it. My parents want an easier life this is the easier life they get.

Im in a process of looking for a place for long term rental now till our very own condo will be ready in 2008 . So we've been travelling around mississauga looking at each and every corner . Counting how many starbucks they have ,hopefully i can find a nice place soon. :(

the way of life , the art of movement , everyone's equal. Those are the saying about capoeira . But for me .... Muscle pain , fatigue ,blisters. But its all worth it. i never expect to see myself doing cartwheeles ... dodges and kicks all in a such short peroid of 3 months.On top of that , i meet people of all walks of life . Lawyers , Doctors , Writers , french , mexican (yum) , brazilian , japanese chicks with huge muscles and t*ts . Sorrie , she's my sparing buddy so , can't help notice... anyway julian already pointed it out .

The movers came to my house todae . Its quite a sad fact to see the house that i have lived in for 10 over years ... empty .... This place has been my home , and will always be . East Coast ....a stone throw away to the park . parkway , cityhall , bedok , tamp . AIRPORT ... all in the area...once a east guy always an east guy . Now , my room has only a bed left , a desk and 4 walls . and of course all my childhood posters of fann wong and j.lo... Its time to move on :)

OK here's the thing .... mambo had a matchmake session tat nite , they will give u a tag ... u are supposed to find the matching female with the matching tag and drinks are on the house... ok guess wat tag they give me with wat name . WILLIAM HUNG!!!! OMG... they gave char tyra banks and stasia brithney spears. but WHY WILLIAM HUNG.???? i mean they had names like mr potato head , dj adrian ,brad pitt... Anyway i went with melvyn's friends too , erm there was andrew . Chris and xavier.. and erm many others i can't remember ... almost dead drunk though .

we took a short day road trip to Jb , These are the photos . Admist all the long messy roads , bad weather , pollution and chaotic jb traffic . we still had fun , eating . i have been going around singapore seeking nice place to eat wonton mees . and i have finally decided on gerald's top 3

1)Fei Fei wanton mee
Joo Chait Road.
the wonton mee here has ketchup and chilli . how often do u see ketchup or sweet sauce in your wonton mee . a bowl consists of 3 wontons , which has a slight peppery taste in every bite . there is a reason this is my favourite . Its ketchup soaks in well with oil and its own handmade noodles which are so soft and nice to chew on . Its my favourite .

2)Sunshine Plaza wonton mee
along middle road , opposite peace enter and opposite pool junction

This wonton me is famous for its deep friend wontons , there are 2 in each serving and its so crunchy . After its crunchy first bite , the rest just crumbles and sorta melts in your mouth . Its sause is dark sauce , with fresh bits of char siew . SuperB.... a little expensive , compared to fei fei.

3)Amigo Wonton mee
Changi village market
This stall is famous for its chicken cutlet hor fun , or wonton mee... i prefer its wonton me because for $3 , you get a fairly decent bit of dinner . Its only nice for its sauce though while the rest of the ingredients are just average.

sorry for the lack of blogging , my comps down . its been infected by a freaking spyware virus , that shuts down all the programs and doesn't allow anything to be runned . its in the workshop , mean time i'm using my mum's friggin lousy computer , so hence the lack of blogging.

now that ns's over , its kinda hard not spending money . I'm grounding my self at home so that i dun spend anymore , besides going for my capoeira classes .damm its tough , working on my cartwheel now . My kicks have been drilled over and over again by master . He was like , since you are the newest , you have personal training . Then he goes there watching me and rehearse the same kicks and turns over and over again , and everytime i do something wrong he slaps me ArgHZ . who ever said learning martial arts was easy. But hey i'm getting there , well almost at least.

Oh by the way , i am not getting fat . I can confirm its the haircut , SO PLEASE CHEE YONG AND MARCUS. i'm still the same weight , maybe i'm building muscles , from all the kicking and turning lol . we'll see one day , i'll get to perform like my lao jiao's at taka . Mambo jumbo at expo sucked. the mambo music started at 11... omg ... frekaing play for 1 hour and then its the count down . Even their choices of mambo songs they played sucked. I went to the post office to change my lousy i pod , it won't charge . I freaking put the charger in and the battery wun load or charge , anyway they gave me a 2nd one for one exchange. hey no point taking care of it right , when i know 2 months later i am gonna have a problem and gonna have to change again . woke up to annoying piling sounds outside my house today , arghz . i hate a late night the night before with zhirong and melvin and sgt . We watched the museum. damm , it sucks to have to wake up so early.

Went with dad and mum todae to collect the free vouchers from the printer we just bought . Our queue no was 161 .. the current queue was 86 can u imagine how long we had to wait. but thank god i saw cheryl , and she gave me my vouchers straight away . Mum was like why didn't u come in and see her earlier.

Met ki wi , and kwan for dinner . then kwan introed us to all his friends , charles , didi , and adrian . Adrian is more ABC , he has the weird accent and the white skin , charles too , he speaks french more fluently than me . Not forgetting didi , he's quite but and yet not in a sense that his anti social . although i just met them today it feels like i have known them for ages

AFter thaT we went back to their hotel , there were all going back to sydney and malaysia tomorrow so we decided to go back and they invited me over . it was 1951 hotel at china town or something , its called " botique hotel " and it charged about close to 200 a night. We just sat and chatted , and made lots of crappy jokes

LooK at the hotel , see the open concept of the toilet ? u can practically piss and shit with the people at the bed watching , this is ment for couples more like for friends , but overall this hotel is a nice cosy stay . But for 200 na~ . We had drinks , they gave me a glass of smifnoof With lime , but silly charles stepped on my cup and it spilled all over the floor .

so this is christmas , and what have you done . Another year over , a new one's just begun. So this is christmas , and hope you had fun .

I had been in deep thoughts recently these past few days, hopefully i will be strong.

Yesterday i started my first lesson of capoeira . It was soo cool , i started off by doing the basic stance . then the basic movement of the stance and a few low kicks . Next lesson i should learn the cart wheel , i'm quite excited . Capoeira not only keeps u fit ,but flexi too.It quite amazing , someone so rigid as me will turn into someone different once u do the right stretching , i didn't realise i could kick so high. My french classes at Alliance are also starting soon , i better start revising this christmas.

Something to keep myself busy

I would like to wish everyone a merry christmas , and a happy new year . may all you dreams come true this new year ,may what u long for come to you . aNd what u wish for appear in front of you . Hi guys , thanks for the cake . it was nice , i was so touched and suprised. You guys are the best . Thanks for your ang bao's , thanks for being there.And to everyone else who rememberd my birthday , thanks for having me in your mind .

I am 19 , there are alot of things i have to change and i should change with the coming year . This is my last teen year , hence i should change . I will try to become less calculative , less immature , less whiny . I know to all my friends who beared though all my nonsence the whole time . thank you very much , you guys are truely my friend . Also in the following year , i'll leave to a whole new country . I hope i will have a safe journey , a easy time adjusting , and good results for me because its back to studies.

I wish to forget the indelible scars that i have from a lot of pain that nobody sees . I go through a lot but i dun think anybody really sees it. I go through a lot in my life , and its because of the specific someone i like that causes me to be so sad through out the year , i hope to change that .

lastly , i am approaching the end of my army life , guys merah guys . Its been a fun 2 years , with ups and downs . Sorry for my immature times . My group , great fun ,great times we all had . we will lead our seperate ways soon , but u guys will always be taking up a great space in my mind.

As for my love , i know i am being quite a looser for not telling you , i dun want to risk . I know we cannot work out together , the only way is i go to canada and let feelings fade . But i really really love you . Those times with you alone are the happyest in my life . Every second of it . I know i can't expect the same from you because its impossible . GERALD'S GUIDE TO LOOSING WEIGHT

One of my friends said i could be a spoke person for some mens slimming centre . Hmmm i am considering that option , here's something that i am really proud off . and yet not proud that it happened.

Here's Gerald's guide to loosing weight.

!) its not that amount of exercise you do , it depends alot on what you eat . You could run 5km and then go eat A huge burger. Everything would be wasted.

2) Do not snack after 8 , if youre hungry grab a glass of milk , or a fruit . These are non fatening suppers you could get.

3) Do Exercise that involves heavy cardio , eg running , swimming . but if you find that too boring , engages in team sports or games like tennis and badminton.

4)Have a basic serving of 1 lean meat e.g chicken , pork without any skin or fat . 1 Serving of vegies ,and reduce the intake of rice . this will help greatly , because rice contains carbo , and it turns into fat.

5)Static exercise does not work , i was silly enough to try it.

6) if u are wanting to gain weight like most of my friends are , DO THE EXACT OPPOSITE. plus eat chocolates , sleep after lunch and dinner and drink lots and lots of coke.

i finally met up with nicole today after 3 long freakin years , she finally got back from melbourne and my god she's changed , more matured , taller , has a better smile . but she still has those big big eyes.... one stare when she's pissed ah, u'll turn into stone LOL... jokin .... anyway we went to new york new york at city link , lets just say the service is good and THATS IT!.... she ordered ribs and i ordered fish. but to her suprise , she found a strain of hair inside the rIBs ... After the gals came back from the toilet , we made use of the 1 for 1 and ordered drinks , lets say it was a wrong choice on my part , we had shooters lambo's and tequila shots ALL together, of course the long wait because of the crowd. But ITs HORRIBLE..... all of us were so high ...... i was so high , but my headache came shortly after the lambo ,, ARgHz i spent the whole night walk with a freaking headache , even mambo was kinda dull for me. that was not the end , vanessa ordered another 1 for 1 jug of vodka lime . shieT!

It was good training , i never had so much when i am usually out with the guys , so they were like asking me , u consider this a lot ???? YES I DO! i must admit i am a very lousy drinker , so was amy . She was so high she could not stop smiling , which was real cute LOL...

I'm starting to do my Christmas shopping , every year this time , i start spending on my pay check on every little thing , presesnts , food . i tend to spoil myself during the christmas seasaon. First of all , it combines with my birthday , so i start askin for gifts , from my paresnts . Well compared to last year when i got my digital camera , this year its just a new hp . I'm not complaning because our budget is a bit tight this year, my elder sister's sickness , expenditure , and everything with the house and the car , doesn't leave us a lot of money left to spend . :(....
and i'm brining my money to canada so , wats left is just my ns salary. But that doesn't stop me from spoling myself.

I bought this watch yesterday , the auntie was a good sales person and i got quite a great deal off this watch ... but it comes with a pinch in my pocket

The thing about me is if i like something , i tend to do it in access , in a case of virtual tennis 3 , i really love the game . So i spent so much money playing it at the arcrade . and mambo , i love it so much ( god knows why ). there was a peroid of time during ndp , i went for 3 or 4 consequtive weeks . well , just watched james bond on fri , i must say i dunno if i am impressed or not impressed. This movie did make me leave with a big wow and my jaw wide open . ( also because this lady stepped on my foot on the way down ).

Things i have noticed.

1) When a target leaves for the airpot and when u are still making out with a lady , u can make a phone call and end up right behind , trailing the target in another country.

2) James bond car is not bullet proof , an aston martin wow!

3)Cardic aresst can be saved from a small pump in your car. And a few jabs to your nerve ( DIY)

4)Any girl you meet when u are bond , will make out with you.

5)After making out , either they die or they want to kill you.

6) Groin torture is the best way to cause pain to james bond , but not the best way to get any information ( plus he may like the torture ).

Overall i kinda liked that movie , many people said its stupid . I feel its straight forward . Spy kills bad guy , girl betrays spy , girl die's spy wins It is that straight forward , but sometimes seeing people play poker with millions , driving posh cars , snagging hot babes . really makes me dream what would it be like to be in a rich's man shoes . I prob be headhunted or poisoned if i am rich though . BUt i must say the movie has one GREAT GREAT GREAT GEM, the bond girl vespa ( eva green ) is damm hotttttttt la... Here's a gentle warning to all those planning to go to the motor show . DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Let me explain why ... too many people too little cars .
Its not worth $10 to enter ( $15 for me .. i had to pay an extra 5 for terrence ).
I think u'd be better of going to each car showrooms with a camera , you'll prob have a chance to sit it in and have a luxury of a sales personnel explaning it to you.

MY DREAM CAR BABY! this car always keeps my eyes rolling whenever it passes me . Its a hard top convertable , superb hi-five and its style design , so chic . Not to mention its huge metallic rims . I waited for the guy inside to get out so i could get a picture , but he just won't leave . BuggeR!

Well Sat was her birthday party , i was think what to wear then i finally decided this shirt with something like a blazer , and kenneth decided a orange puma vest , which he bought . But halfway there we realised the resturant had no aircon . damm! There were 12 of us cramped up in a table for 10 , pong had to sit on the edge poor thing . I Spent the night introducing myself , meeting and getting to know new people , trying to figure out names . I sat in the middle . The people on my left was the starbucks guys , i already know them so that wasn't too difficult . On the right was dion and her bf, Her bf looked kinda hostile , so i was not like talking much to dion . And there were the funny 2 ron and jeremy , then dan and her best friend .

This is the starbucks guys. (me , dom , danielle , jason , pong ) . God damm i miss the starbucks days . Dom i miss topping up your lids , jason i miss your nagging and advice , pong i miss talking cock with u at the library , and danielle i miss irritating you ( yes i know i did tat alot ). Anyway i must say the starbucks times was one of the bests time of my life , i really enjoyed working there and its soo sad to see no one's around anymore except jason ( he works in parkway).

Then towards late , he had to use sign language . Take care of your throat young man .
This was the remainding survivors who made to to mos ( ron in the mid) . We had fun . it was ron's first time clubbing and he looked damm high , dancing to the 70's music and stuff. When we headed to the rnb room the last time a BIG brawl broke out , danielle was the first to run , followed by me and ken and ron . If we stayed we would have been pushed down . BUt when we were outside , pong was missing . Here is an advice pong , when you want to watch a fight , watch it in a distance .

Anyways , i had fun , pretty sure someone else did too

It was Mav's birthday , the afternoon started off with a lot of ferrying , i should start a company , GERALD transport and services pte ltd ... sounds good eh.... its strange i didn't know hock leong before picking him up at all ... and when i did talk to him i realised he was quite crappy... esp in giving directions. After picking up ann tat from east , i was so hungry at the chalet i had dozens of char siew puffs ( these things are amazing , its like char siew bao but deep fried)..... Our officer brought JIM BEAM ... as much as i wanted to drink ya? u guys know right , i am a excellent drinker. I mean i wun end up like last time , Those were the days , after the GOH chalet i am different , i drink better now Serious.

attending a someone's 21st birthday was fun , wat was even "funner" was seeing people from shift 3 , people from goh , which i rarely get to see . See Chee yong become jason's personal waiter. Whahahaha he was nice la , he was offering us drinks and a lot of stuff . thanks cy!~~

The shift 3 chalet which i was " invited " to was fun .... even though i am not shift 3 lol..... but hey i was from there still right?? marcus got drunk ... well at least sorta drunk....i even felt he got somehow molested.. i have pictures to prove.

The thing is that when you are a chalet its hard not drinking , i had to use driving as an excuse, i had the life of kenneth in my hands. Do u know when u are tired and when u usually trust someone and when u are in that person's car . You usually doze off ? Well in that case no matter how sick he was then he was wide awake.
